US Indices all had positive days on Friday as new highs were made on the Dow and S&P, with Nasdaq reaching its previous high. Dax remains range bound near its all time highs as no follow through to make new highs yet. FTSE gave away some profits in today’s Asian session to come back to 6900.
Gold dropped back down below 1740, while Silver followed Gold’s lead as it came back to its $25 support level. Brent remains range bound between $62.30 and 63.30. With the 10 year bond yields stuck in a range there’s a lack of followthrough carrying over to the commodity market.
Bitcoin broke through the $60 000 level to go test all time highs as the alternative asset continues its bull run.
Prior to the European open GDP and NZD strength came into the market as USD weakness is evident. The CAD is mixed prior to its Business Outlook Survey release.
